Meeting & Workshops
Friday, February 19, 2021 – game sessions + online Focus Group
Saturday, February 20, 2021 – game sessions
Field Rhymes brings together anthropological, artistic, educational, and curatorial practices to reflect on the theme of field experience.
The public is invited to take part in Cicadas Rhyme, an improvisational game based on non-verbal communication conducted via video call. Participants are asked to use everyday objects to create visual compositions that relate to one another through color, shape, and spatial arrangement. The dialogue between the frames develops through a continuous process of listening and observing among participants, gradually generating a visual harmony. The game allows participants to exercise different skills involved in collaborative processes and brings out relational and communicative dynamics.
The online Focus Group with the collectives Propagazioni, Cicadas Rhyme, Pierre Dupont, and the anthropologist Francesco Bravin offers a public conversation open to anyone who wishes to take part.
Starting from the game Cicadas Rhyme, the meeting is structured as a dialogue between artistic, curatorial, and anthropological practices that explore different aspects of field experience.
Among the topics addressed are: the role of empathy and participation, the use of visual and non-verbal languages, and the sharing and presentation of experiences.

Event organized by Propagazioni with Cicadas Rhyme (a collective composed of Annalisa Zegna, Bianca Maria Fasiolo, and Linda Vigiani), Pierre Dupont (a curatorial collective composed of Giulia De Giorgi, Michela Murialdo, and Roberta Perego), and Francesco Bravin (anthropologist).
